Following Tourism Research Australia's change to the new Domestic Tourism Statistics (DoTS) system, the dashboard below has been amended to only show international visitation, with domestic visitor statistics to be added when more information is available.
The fact sheets are based on the National Visitor Survey and will be updated in 2026 with data from DoTS.

Updated annually, the fact sheets detail visitor numbers for the areas, length of visitor stay, visitor spend and other key insights. Each factsheet is based on data from Tourism Research Australia, who publish visitor statistics for every Australia LGA.
Regional Development Commission fact sheets
Beyond our five main tourism regions, we have developed insights into the Regional Development Commissions areas across Western Australia, plus an in-depth look at the Perth metropolitan region. Each factsheet includes information on visitor numbers, where these visitors come from, how much they spend and more destination insights. Updated each calendar year, the fact sheets are based on data from Tourism Research Australia's National and International Visitor Surveys.
