Following TRA's change to the new DoTS system at the start of 2025 the first year of data has been reviewed and changes made affecting inter- and intrastate expenditure as well as backcast estimates for 2019-2024. Further information can be found here.
Domestic and total spend cannot be reliably reported prior to 2025 and are therefore only shown for 2025 onwards. See the Tourism Research Australia website for more info on the methodology change.

Local Government Area and Sub Region Fact Sheets
For a more comprehensive break down of visitor statistics within Australia's South West, Tourism WA has created factsheets for key Local Government Areas (LGA) and Sub Regions in the area. Updated each calendar year, the factsheets include information on visitor numbers to each area, how long they stay, where they travelled from and how much they typically spend. Each factsheet is based on data from Tourism Research Australia, who publish visitor statistics for certain Australia LGAs. Not all factsheets have been updated for 2025. When further data is available, the remainder will be added.

Regional Development Commission Fact Sheets
