Major events create opportunities beyond the core event program. Event experiences, activations and complementary activities help build vibrancy and encourage visitors to spend more time exploring Western Australia.
Through Tourism WA's Event Experience Strategy, businesses, community groups, cultural organisations and tourism operators can play a role in enhancing and leveraging major events. Opportunities may include fan experiences, cultural programming, hospitality offerings and destination activations that complement the main event and enhance the visitor experience.
Get involved
Tourism WA welcomes expressions of interest from businesses, tourism operators, hospitality venues, attractions, retailers, community groups, cultural organisations, schools and other stakeholders interested in participating in future major events.
Opportunities vary depending on the event and may include activations, experiences and other activities delivered before, during or after an event.
