What is The Dream Collective?

In 2024 Tourism WA, in partnership with Tourism Council WA, launched The Dream Collective Western Australia, an industry recognition program that celebrates the state's leading tourism operators and experiences.

The initiative provides a platform to promote and showcase WA's best tourism products and aims to support and encourage advancements in business quality, with a special focus on sustainable and inclusive visitor experiences.

Operators selected for The Dream Collective receive several benefits, including priority in Tourism WA's social media, dedicated placements on westernaustralia.com, inclusion in a domestic tactical marketing campaign, an official program logo for their own promotional use, priority PR and Familiarisation opportunities, priority for new creation shoots and a range of other exclusive benefits.

How to apply

To be included in The Dream Collective, operators need to meet strict eligibility requirements and be successful in evaluations across a set of criteria covering customer reviews, website and online platforms, marketing and social media activity, training, accreditation and awards.

Applications for the top-up intake have now closed. Businesses will be notified of the outcome of their application in due course. Applications for the next round will open in September 2027.

This year, the program is moving to a new two-year cohort model, giving members more time to benefit from the recognition, support, and opportunities that come with being part of The Dream Collective. Current members and successful applicants from this intake will remain in the cohort until the next full intake opens in September 2027.

The Dream Collective Program Guidelines

Inclusion in The Dream Collective program is determined by weighted criteria and tourism operators will need to meet a scoring threshold to be included.
