More bookings are flowing to Western Australia's tourism industry, driven by recent campaigns supported by Tourism WA.
Consumer campaigns are generating strong results for the visitor economy, with the recent Kimberley Season Pass – which offered 50 per cent off tours and experiences in Broome and Kununurra – selling-out and creating more than $1.2 million in bookings for local tourism businesses.
A campaign promoting the WA Dream Pass has driven a 122 per cent increase in active users, helping connect visitors and locals with tourism experiences and encouraging greater visitor spending across the state.
Additionally, the Dream Road Trips: Explore WA voucher program, delivered in partnership with Caravan & Camping WA, is encouraging more West Australians to holiday close to home.
The program offers travellers a $300 voucher for just $200 to spend at participating caravan and holiday parks across the state and is available for purchase until the end of September, unless sold out prior, for travel until the end of December.
Western Australia's tourism operators are at the core of the state's visitor economy and Tourism WA remain committed to giving them opportunities to grow and reach new markets.
