Tourism Council WA 2018 training workshops
Tourism Council WA is delivering a range of its industry-relevant training workshops in Margaret River, Bunbury, Perth, Shark Bay, Kalgoorlie and Esperance over the next few months. These workshops cover a variety of industry-relevant topics, including digital marketing and social media, customer service, tourism boost (introduction to tourism), media and public relations, and China ready. Finals Fever | Fremantle
The finalists in the 2018 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards will be announced at Finals Fever. This year, the event is hosted by Little Creatures Fremantle, beverage sponsors of the 2018 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards.

Caravan Industry Association WA Gala Dinner | Aloft, Perth
The Caravan Industry Association WA Gala Dinner celebrates WA's caravan and camping industry. A number of awards will be presented throughout the evening, and guests can enjoy a three-course dinner along with live entertainment.

Tourism WA Greater China Travel Mission
The Greater China Travel Mission aims to increase awareness of Western Australia as a holiday destination and provides WA operators with a platform to develop and increase business opportunities with key trade partners in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The host city will be announced shortly. More details on registering for the Tourism WA Greater China Travel Mission 2018 will be available in June/July.

IMEX America 2018 | Las Vegas, USA
IMEX America is the USA’s largest meetings industry trade show. It is a global exhibition event for incentive travel, meetings and events that attracts thousands of professionals from the USA and internationally. With more than 3,000 hosted buyers attending, IMEX America provides opportunities for business, networking and education.

Instagram is currently the third most used social networking site in the world, with more than one billion active monthly users.  It’s all about visual sharing - the challenge is making it work for your business. This interactive workshop will provide you with practical tips and explain how to use Instagram to raise your profile and promote your business, while creating positive opinions and customers. Australian Regional Tourism Convention | NSW
The Australian Regional Tourism Convention (ARTC) 2018 is a must-attend event for regional tourism professionals. It provides a forum to discuss, debate and investigate solutions to industry issues, challenges and opportunities. It is an opportunity for all sectors of the tourism industry to exchange ideas about ways to grow a sustainable regional destination and to showcase best practice success. Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference | Victoria
The Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council (WAITOC) has announced the ninth Australian Indigenous Tourism Conference (AITC) will be held in Lorne, Victoria. Facilitated by WAITOC, hosted by Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation and supported by the State Government of Victoria and Outback Academy, the conference will table the opportunities and challenges within the industry and include presentations by tourism industry leaders.

The Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner is the tourism industry's night of nights - announcing the medallists in this year's Awards program at Crown Perth. The evening features a great range of entertainment, including MC Peter Rowsthorn and music from The Murphy Brothers, alongside delicious food and beverages from sponsors Little Creatures and Happs Wines.

AHA Hospitality Awards for Excellence & Gala Ball | Crown, Perth
The AHA Hotel Awards for Excellence has grown to be the biggest night on Western Australia’s hospitality calendar, celebrating excellence in hotels, accommodation, restaurants, small bars, employees and dining and entertainment venues. This Gala Ball includes the presentation of over 40 individual awards, recognising excellence across Western Australia’s hospitality industry.
