Be part of the buzz and benefits that major events bring to Western Australia, through the delivery of experiences and attractions beyond the core program. Showcase your business or organisation and engage with local and out-of-state visitors alike.
Whether you propose to host premium pre and post-game offerings, or you have innovative activation ideas that may add to the vibrant event atmosphere within the host venue precinct, we would love to hear from you.
Tourism WA will work with key stakeholders to support your activity, which may include provision of resources, funding or partnerships. Support will vary depending on the event and the proposed activity.
We welcome interest from local organisations and businesses that would like to be part of the festivities when major events are in town. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Hotels
- Restaurants and cafes
- Pubs and bars
- Local attractions
- Tourism operators
- Retail
- Community groups
- Sporting groups
- Cultural groups
- Aboriginal businesses
- Primary and secondary schools
- Tertiary institutions
Once you register:
- You will be added to our database and considered for the selected upcoming event/s and any future opportunities.
- Tourism WA will review your submission as activation planning for each event commences.
- If found suitable, a Tourism WA represent will contact you regarding next steps.

We’ve developed a practical guide to help event holders manage the risks associated with holding an event in WA.
Our fact sheet has been developed to support Regional Events Scheme funding recipients however it can be used by any event holder as it aligns with the Australian Standard: Risk Management – Principles and Guidelines (AS ISO 3100:2018).
