Tourism WA runs an events marketing campaign every year across both paid and owned media channels.

The aim of the campaign is to communicate the wide variety of events happening across the State at any one time and to drive attendance.

In 2015-16, our events marketing campaign resulted in more than 250,000 day trips and 190,000 overnight trips, with spend by West Australians of around $127.3 million.

In addition, we undertake specific marketing initiatives for key events in selected markets to drive visitation and attendance.
