Tourism WA has produced guidelines to inform the industry, government and relevant stakeholders of best-practice for developing Dark Sky Tourism product in Western Australia.
This document was formulated using current consumer research developed to inform product development and marketing strategy in the Dark Sky Tourism sector.
The guidelines outline a series of principles designed to support sustainable Dark Sky Tourism development and offers examples of existing products and identified opportunities to grow this sector in WA. Information and links to further resources are also provided to assist potential proponents, tour operators, and local governments in understanding these matters.
