‚ÄčThe itineraries included in the familiarisation program are developed by our international and domestic marketing teams.

After consultation with our Familiarisations Manager, visits are managed by us or contractors if we are too busy.

We want to develop itineraries which result in the best possible promotion of the State, as this will provide benefits for the rest of WA by inspiring more people to visit.

Itineraries for media and trade familiarisations are different. Media groups are looking for a story angle, an interesting character to interview or a good photo.  Trade is interested in seeing as much commissionable product as possible in order to confidently sell it to their clients.
