Western Australia offers many extraordinary experiences, some of which can't be found anywhere else in Australia, and in some cases the world​.

For example, we have the world's largest collection of wildflowers; Australia's whitest beach at Lucky Bay in Esperance; the only two horizontal waterfalls in the world in the Kimberley; and the largest outdoor gallery in the world at Lake Ballard.

Our brand positioning – Experience Extraordinary – reflects the State's uniqueness. Launched in 2010, the brand promotes the many experiences that you can have in Western Australia.

Just Another Day in WA

Just Another Day in WA is Tourism WA’s latest marketing campaign under the Experience Extraordinary brand.

The core message of the campaign is - There are so many unique and extraordinary experiences waiting to be discovered in WA that although it may feel like an unforgettable moment, you’ll see it’s just another day in WA.

The Just Another Day in WA concept is an evolution of the Experience Extraordinary message to showcase a broad range of experiences in WA through the use of film and photography.

Hotel Perth

Tourism WA has launched a new marketing campaign focusing on selling Perth as a holiday destination on Australia’s East Coast.

The campaign, called Hotel Perth, has been developed to showcase the changing face of Perth and reposition the city as a vibrant destination on nature’s doorstep, and is expected to reignite interest on the East Coast and increase visitation to WA.

It likens Perth city to a hotel by comparing the beach to a swim-up bar, Optus Stadium to on-demand entertainment, and quokka selfies to checking-in with the friendliest faces on Earth.

To help accommodation providers and the wider tourism industry in Perth to continue promoting the benefits of a stay in the city there are a number of Hotel Perth assets that can be downloaded.  

These assets can be integrated into any marketing materials and communications such as flyers, electronic direct mail (EDMs) and social posts.
