2020 has started out tough for the tourism industry. Tourism Western Australia has responded by launching its biggest intrastate tourism campaign, to encourage West Australians to get behind the state by booking an Adventure in WA.

The campaign will launch with high-impact press and radio, followed by integrated activity across digital, video, print, out-of-home and social which will run through to September 2020. 

Targeting residents from all over WA, the campaign will inspire locals to take a different type of holiday, by exploring locations they’ve never been and embarking on experiences they’ve never had, with friendly operators who are ready to welcome them.

Tourism WA is working with the Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) and the Western Australian Indigenous Tourism Operators Council (WAITOC) to promote compelling experiences and road trips, to encourage locals to holiday in WA and book direct with industry partners.

The campaign will:
Target WA residents planning a holiday this year
Drive immediate visitation
Promote compelling experiences that are worth travelling for
Encourage visitors to book direct with industry
