Tourism WA's Summer is the greatest show in Perth campaign launched on Sunday 27 October 2019.

The campaign targets East Coast visitors in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland,  highlighting all the best things to do in Perth during summer.

This includes the summer festivals, FRINGE WORLD and Perth Festival that bring the city alive from January through March as well as other key events.

The campaign includes a partnership with national broadcaster, Macquarie Radio Network, with  radio presenter John Stanley (3AW, 2GB, 4BC) to broadcast his national program, Nights with John Stanley, to these target audiences  live from Perth.

A range of Perth and surrounds destination content will feature throughout the program including live and pre-recorded interviews with Perth operators. The campaign also includes a radio partnership with Australian Radio Network, promotion on commercial radio, online video content, social media and content partnerships with publishers such as Australian Traveller.

The campaign will feature a compelling 20 per cent off Perth hotels offer with Wotif.com, which will also run across Wotif's digital channels, to attract these prospective East Coast visitors to book their holiday with WA. 

 There are a number of ways operators and businesses Perth and surrounds can engage with the campaign:

  1. Align your advertising or social media activity with Tourism WA by utilising the library of Perth and surrounds images and vision, available to download from the Tourism WA Image Library.
  2. Join the conversation on social media by tagging #ThisisWA. We have passionate followers who are interested in what they can see and do in WA. As the experts on all things WA, we ask you to share your tips and advice with them.
  3. Refresh your ATDW listing via ATDW-Online  to make sure your product information on westernaustralia.com is up-to-date.
