Domestic Coral Coast Campaign

Tourism WA’s domestic Coral Coast campaign showcases the aquatic and coastal experiences of Ningaloo Reef. It highlights Ningaloo Reef’s proximity from sand to reef as the world’s closest and largest fringing reef as well as the incredible marine life encounters on offer from swimming with whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and hundreds of species of tropical fish.

The campaign, live through March and April 2019, targets the Escape and Connect segment in the New South Wales and Victoria markets. It is being delivered in partnership with Qantas and Qantas Hotels with flight and hotel deals to drive conversion.

The campaign is promoted across a range of channels including cinema advertising, out of home billboards, online video and social media.

Domestic Kimberley Campaign

Tourism WA’s domestic Kimberley campaign showcased the incredible natural wonders to be discovered in the Kimberley along with authentic Aboriginal experiences and key events such as Ord Valley Muster and Shinju Matsuri.

The campaign targeted the Off the Beaten Track audience segment in the New South Wales and Victoria markets. This segment has a higher propensity to travel to regional areas such as the Kimberley as they seek outdoor adventures and unique wildlife and cultural experiences and are more likely to holiday within Australia than overseas.

The campaign was delivered in partnership with Broome, Kimberley and Beyond who packaged Kimberley holiday deals.

Campaign advertising included billboards, online video, social media and press with features in Good Weekend and Australian Traveller.

The campaign ran through February to March 2019.
