Tourism WA’s 2019 AFL marketing campaign launched on Sunday January 27.

The six month campaign has been implemented in both Victoria and South Australia, with the aim to drive visitation and continue awareness and consideration of Perth as an AFL tourism destination.

The campaign will reach a passionate AFL fan base with relevant, fun and informative messaging to entice them to follow their team to WA to watch them play. Dennis Cometti will feature as the face of WA across both radio and digital channels.
In terms of media, Tourism WA aims to tap into highly relevant channels to reach AFL fans at the peak of their interest, meaning we are talking to them right from the beginning of the pre-season JLT Community Series.

The campaign is promoted across a range of channels include radio, AFL Record features, native and display advertising and targeted video.
