Give the Gift of Travel encourages West Australians to give
the most meaningful and unforgettable gift this festive season: the gift of a
wander out yonder in Western Australia. The campaign highlights the diversity
of tourism experiences that can be given as gifts, from culinary expeditions
and Aboriginal cultural tours, to wildlife encounters, staycations, bucket-list
adventures and so much more.
The campaign is targeted to a WA intrastate audience across
print, paid social, digital display and native content, and aims to:
- Position
the value of The Gift of Travel through its emotional and
aspirational value - there is no better or more meaningful gift than an
unforgettable adventure in WA
- Build
desire for tourism experiences as a gift, by showcasing the range of
experiences, tours, attractions and accommodation available across WA
- Encourage locals to purchase tourism experiences as
gifts for friends and relatives, supporting the local tourism industry
Activity will drive consumers to www.gift.westernaustralia.com,
showcasing a range of tourism experiences from across the State.
There is an
opportunity for tourism operators to still be considered for the landing page
if businesses meet the following criteria:
- Must be either an AHA member, a member of your Regional
Tourism Organisation, WAITOC, or TCWA accredited
- Must offer gift vouchers for online purchase, or offer
bookable experiences online,
