The world's biggest sporting team will make its mark on our State when the Manchester United Football Club squad comes to WA for the first time in more than 40 years in July 2019.

Training clinics, an open training session and functions with club legends will be among unique opportunities fans can look forward to as part of the experience.

While in Perth, the club will play two friendly matches against A-League Perth Glory and traditional rivals Leeds United at Optus Stadium and will also train in the State ahead of its 2019-20 season.

Manchester United's visit is expected to attract thousands of visitors to Perth, with the club having one of the world's biggest supporter bases of more than 659 million fans worldwide as well as a total global social media reach of more than 114.1million followers across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

The two clubs visiting Perth is expected to generate extensive media coverage and publicity for the State.
