Perth’s coastal areas form an important part of Perth’s identity as a city and as a tourism destination.
The Perth’s Coastal Precincts report, commissioned by Tourism WA, looks at visitor appeal, activities undertaken and demographics at eight beaches; Cottesloe, Scarborough, Fremantle, City Beach, Hillarys, Rockingham, Trigg and Leighton.
The report also looks at recommendations for future developments at these beaches.
The results were gathered from a survey of 353 interstate, intrastate and international visitors (not Perth residents).
A high-level summary of the findings can be downloaded here.
