Tourism WA’s Industry Support Team

Tourism WA has established a special Industry Support Team to help members of the tourism industry during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The team was developed with key industry partners and will offer support and information to WA tourism industry operators from people who understand the tourism industry. It will reach out to thousands of West Australian tourism operators to check how they are coping, help them navigate the various State and Federal assistance packages, and offer a friendly voice to talk through recovery ideas for when the time is right. Those who need to talk to someone urgently are encouraged to email industrysupportteam@westernaustralia.com and someone will phone you back. These conversations will allow Tourism WA to be informed of existing or emerging issues that may help guide possible future support or recovery initiatives. Further details about the initiative is available in this video from Tourism WA Managing Director Brodie Carr or read more in the Tourism Minister's media statement.
