Indigenous Tourism Fund 

WA Aboriginal tourism businesses can apply for funding through the Federal Government’s $40 million Indigenous Tourism Fund, which includes up to $12 million in tourism grants to help Aboriginal businesses and organisations develop new products and purchase systems and equipment. For more information visit the National Indigenous Australians Agency website.  

Major Events Funding 

Facilitated by Tourism WA, Major Events Funding WA provides assistance for event managers and organisers to run major events which promote tourism in WA. This is awarded on a case by case basis and must be submitted at least 12 months prior to the date of the event. For more information visit  Major Events Funding WA.

Wine and Cider Producers Grant 

Funding of up to $100,000 is available for wine and cider producers (GST exclusive) for their eligible rebatable domestic cellar door sales. This grant is run annually, with applications closing at the end of January. For more information visit Wine Tourism and Cellar Door Grant.

Wage Subsidies Incentives 

Wage subsidies provide financial incentives to employers to hire and retain eligible participants in ongoing and sustainable positions. Subsidies up to a maximum of $10,000 are open to Australian businesses with an ABN looking to fill an ongoing position. For more information visit Wage Subsidies.

Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentive 

The Jobs and Skills WA Employer Incentive provides businesses with incentive payments when they employ an apprentice or new entrant trainee. The incentive amount is based on the nominal term of the apprenticeship or traineeship and can be claimed at certain training milestones.
