A/Chief Executive Officer - Richard Sellers

The Chief Executive Officer (concurrently appointed as the Director General of the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation) plays a key role in helping to increase the contribution of tourism to WA’s economy. The CEO provides strategic leadership to the development and implementation of the State’s strategy and action plans for tourism and works closely with a range of public and private sector stakeholders to ensure growth of the industry.

​A/Managing Director - Derryn Belford

The Managing Director is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Tourism WA including: the promotion of Western Australia as an extraordinary tourism destination nationally and internationally; facilitating the development of tourism infrastructure and working to deliver a world-class events calendar.  The role works closely with the Chair of Tourism WA’s Board, supported by the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism WA, to grow the number of visitors to our State.

​Executive Director - Events - Saskia Doherty

Events play an important role in tourism as they provide visitors with a specific reason to book their trip or extend a visit, provide a boost to the economy, add pride and vibrancy, and raise the profile of WA through media exposure.  The Events Division develops, sponsors, markets and promotes a diverse calendar of sporting, cultural, arts and culinary events that showcase Western Australia as a great place to live, work and visit.

Executive Director - Strategy, Brand and Marketing Services - Mollie Hill

The Strategy, Brand and Marketing Services Division has stewardship of destination marketing, including tourism branding for Western Australia and oversees the development of marketing strategy, campaigns and materials. In addition, the division undertakes strategic planning, market research and analysis, and leads the development of tourism industry strategies and Tourism WA’s corporate strategic and operational plans.

Executive Director - Industry, Aviation and Markets - Carolyn Turnbull

The Industry, Aviation and Markets Division is responsible for implementing Tourism WA's partnerships and conversion marketing strategy in Australia and in key international markets. The division works with airlines, wholesalers, retail and online agents, and other key partners such as Tourism Australia and WA tourism operators to communicate WA's brand messages and drive visitation to the State.  Its key functions include aviation development, domestic and international marketing, and oversight of contracts with WA’s five Regional Tourism Organisations, Tourism Council Western Australia and Business Events Perth. 


A/Executive Director - Destination Development - Renata Lowe

The Destination Development Division focuses on identifying how different WA locations can grow their tourism sectors, and supporting major projects that will draw visitors to particular destinations. The division consists of Policy and Planning; Strategy; and Programs (including Royalties for Regions).

Director - Corporate Services - David Lowe

The Corporate and Business Services Division supports the agency by providing financial services, risk management, human resources management, information management, ICT and procurement/contract services.

Manager - Office of the Managing Director - Robyn Robb

The Office of the Managing Director incorporates the wider Executive Services team and provides support to the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Management Team.  The Office is responsible for Ministerial liaison, corporate hospitality and leads the development of Tourism WA’s corporate strategic and operational plans.

Manager - Corporate Communications - Kelly Eadie

Corporate Communications promotes Tourism WA’s initiatives and programs to industry and other stakeholders. It is responsible for issues management, media liaison and internal communications.

​Chief Financial Officer - Renato Sansalone  

The Chief Financial Officer provides Tourism WA’s financial and accounting services and ensures the agency’s compliance with financial matters.
