Expedia and Tourism WA Boxing Day campaign
WA's hotel industry is invited to participate in an upcoming domestic Expedia campaign to promote our extraordinary State. Tourism WA is looking to drive immediate visitation to the State through a six-day Boxing Day campaign with Expedia which commences on Tuesday, December 26 through to Sunday, December 31, 2017. To take part hotels must submit offers of up to 25% off hotel rooms. Tourism WA, Corporate Travel Management, flybuys travel and Virgin Australia joint campaign
The campaign in November aims to promote immediate domestic travel to Western Australia.  This initiative is a new way to engage with consumers, to tell the WA story and address the issues of domestic travellers believing WA is too expensive.  The objective of this partnership is to create awareness of Perth, generate flight and accommodation sales to Perth as well as increase tourism spend and visitation.  The campaign will leverage the flybuys member database of 8.2 million members, online website promotions, in-store activity and targeted social media advertising.   In addition there will be a dedicated destination content page which will be a first for flybuys travel.  If you are a Perth accommodation provider and you would like to participate in the campaign, and provide your product with additional exposure, email Aaron Collins.
