Australia's South West Incorporated (ASW) is the Regional Tourism Organisation for the south west corner of Western Australia, covering an area from Yarloop and Katanning in the north to Augusta in the south and east to Bremer Bay.
ASW works to raise the profile and increase visitation to the Australia's South West region. A range of promotional activities are undertaken in intrastate, interstate and international markets each year to establish the region as a highly desirable tourism destination.
The activities of ASW are steered by an Executive Board comprising of stakeholders that have been nominated and elected by members plus skills based representatives. A small team of marketing and administration staff manages the membership base and implements marketing activities for the region.
These marketing activities include:
- Publication and distribution 325,000 Australia’s South West Holiday Planners and linked campaign
- Publication and distribution of major seasonal campaign Winter Getaways
- Promotion and updating of the australiassuthwest.com web site
- Involvement in intrastate and interstate Consumer Shows attended in conjunction with Visitor Centres
- Spring and Summer seasonal campaigns
- Ongoing advertising in domestic travel magazines and newspapers
- Participation in international consumer and trade shows
- Ongoing familiarisation trips for interstate and international journalists and trade.
