Servicing our visitors is an important component of ensuring visitors to all parts of Western Australia enjoy their stay. Importantly, it provides comfort for travellers and delivers friendly service and information that will enhance their holiday experience. High quality visitor servicing helps ensure visitors are aware of what to see and what to do within a local area and other parts of WA.
Visitor Centres
Visitor Centres are located throughout the state and provide information on destination information, accommodation, attractions, activities, tours. They range from small information services and brochure racking in regional shire offices or libraries to large purpose-built buildings that specialise in displaying and distribution destination and tourism product information.
The Visitor Centre Association of Western Australia (VCAWA) is the peak industry body representing Visitor Centres and the Visitor Servicing Industry throughout WA. For over 40 years, the VCAWA (formerly known as the Country Tourism Association) has been representing the interests of Visitor Centres and the overall State Tourism Industry.

Accredited Visitor Centres
A quality assurance program exists to ensure that Western Australian Visitor Centres meet the high standards and expectations of our visitors. Accredited visitor centres must be open seven days per week, provide training for their staff and after-hours emergency information. The accreditation is part of a national program administered in Western Australia by the Tourism Council of Western Australia.
Accredited Visitor Centres are permitted to display a yellow italic "i" and are located strategically throughout Western Australia. You can identify accredited Visitor Centres when you see this logo:
