Tourism Western Australia commissioned Access Economics to report on the economic contribution of tourism to the Western Australian economy in 2005/06, using the now well established Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) approach adopted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for its national TSA. This report is an update to the Access Economics report presenting TSA-cased estimates of the economic contribution of tourism to Western Australia in 2001/02.

This comprehensive study is now complete and demonstrates the economic contribution of tourism to the State's economy, how much it influences other industries and the thousands of jobs it creates. Full results can be found in either the fact sheet or full report links below.
