​Visitation fact sheets for Local Government Areas and tourism sub-regions​ are provided below. The factsheets are based on an annual average of three years (2014, 2015 and 2016) and only factsheets for areas with sufficient sample size have been published. If you are interested in the estimated visitation​ to an area that is not listed below, TRA publishes ​visitation factsheets for most Local Government Areas​ across Australia.

There have been some key methodological changes to the International Visitor Survey (IVS) and National Visitor Survey (NVS) of which you should be aware. Most recently, all NVS domestic estimates for 2014 to 2016 have been revised and reissued by TRA. Please see here for more information.
