Online booking system

Tourism Western Australia (Tourism WA) has implemented an online booking system on the State’s official tourism and travel website westernaustralia.com. The system will maximise the number of products that are bookable online in real time, making it easier for consumers to book their next holiday in Western Australia.

Westernaustralia.com will use Open Booking Exchange (OBX) technology to gather pricing and availability information for consumers. This technology is being provided by VCubed Pty Ltd (V3) following a rigorous public tender process. The service is available to tourism providers by arrangement with V3 at commercial rates.  Tourism WA receives no commissions on bookings through the system.

The first phase includes accommodation products with tours, attractions and events to follow.
