The Graduate 2010
Jerry Hall starred as the legendary seductress Mrs Robinson at the exclusive Perth only season of The Graduate. The stage version of this iconic piece of American culture had also taken London, Toronto and Broadway by storm.
A Day in Pompeii 2010
More than 250 exquisite objects including marble sculpture and gold jewellery detailed how ancient Romans lived and the fascinating story of Pompeii, a city entombed in 79 A.D. following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The exhibition attracted an outstanding 111,670 visitors.
Australian University Games 2010
Perth played host to over 5,000 university students who competed in 31 different sports over 5 days across the city. As Australia's largest multi-sport event the games are renowned for providing a friendly but competitive environment for university students.
Cowparade 2010
The internationally renowned art event saw life-sized fibreglass cows grazing at iconic attractions and public spaces throughout the Margaret River region. The event attracted more than 65,000 people to the Margaret River region, also winning best "Major Festival and Event at the 2010 WA Tourism Awards.
Sculpture By The Sea 2008, 2009 and 2010+
Held at Cottesloe Beach Sculpture By The Sea is one of Perth's largest free to the public events. Cottesloe beach transforms into a sculpture park displaying sculptures by Australian and international artists and attracts over 100,000 people annually.
Perth Fashion Fesival 2008, 2009 and 2010+
An annual celebration of all things fashion, consisting of designer runway shows, workshops, free public events and fashion talks with industry representatives. The festival has firmly established itself as one of Australia's most exciting and dynamic fashion events, through it's inspirational and innovative calendar and plethora of local talent on show.
Hyundai Hopman Cup 1988-2011+
The prestigious invitational mixed team's tennis tournament is unique in format and attracts the world's top players. The event has seen the like of Serena Williams, Steffi Graf, Monica Seles, Mark Philippoussis and Roger Federer compete during it's 21 year history.

Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships 2007, 2008 and 2009
The biggest event of its kind, Perth has hosted the Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships, affectionately known as the "Aussies", in 2007, 2008 and 2009 with over 200 clubs, 6000 competitors converging on Scarborough Beach for the week-long Championships.

Red Bull Air Race World Championship 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010
Featuring the world's best race pilots in a motor sport competiton that combines speed, precision and skill. Pilots navigate a low-level aerial track flying at speeds of up to 370km/h. Staged in front of the Perth cityscape on the pituresque Swan River, this free event has drawn large crowds of over 300,000 to the South Perth Foreshore.

Ironman Western Australia Triathlon 2004 - 2010+
Ironman Western Australia held in Busselton, 3 hours south of Perth, is dubbed as the fastest track in the Ironman series. Set amongst the Tuart Forrest and along Geographe Bay, the Busselton Ironman is becoming more popular with qualifying positions for the Championships held in Kona, Hawaii.

Australasian Safari 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010+
A seven day international off-road endurance race through Western Australia's outback, 4WD's, motorbikes and quadbikes take part in this 5,000km, known as the Dakar Down Under.
20th UNIMA Congress and World Puppetry Festival, 2008
For the first time in its 80-year history this puppetry festival was hosted outside of europe and featured performances across the city.

Rally Australia 1988-2006
Western Australia hosted the Australian round of the FIA World Rally Championship for 18 consecutive years. One of Australia's top international motor sport events, it was widely recognised as one of the most innovative events on the FIA World Rally Championship calendar.
Johnnie Walker Classic 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2009
The Johnnie Walker Classic - Asia-Pacific's richest and most prestigious golf tournament - was successfully hosted by Western Australia in 2002, 2003 and 2006, with Perth the first city ever to host consecutive events.
Gravity Games H2O 2004-2006
Perth was selected as the first and only location outside the USA to host this hugely popular extreme sports and lifestyle event in 2004, 2005 and 2006, featuring action sports including Wake Boarding; Kite Surfing; Freestyle Motocross; and BMX, Skate and In-line Vert Ramp exhibitions.
Socceroos v Indonesia Tsunami Appeal Match 2005
Eventscorp supported Football Federation Australia's Tsunami Appeal Football Match between Australia and Indonesia with State Government support of $250,000 to help stage the event and raise money for the Tsunami relief effort.
Rugby World Cup 2003
Rugby World Cup 2003 saw Perth host five matches at Subiaco Oval, including the blockbuster match between England and South Africa, generating $41.8 million in total for the state economy.
2003 UCI BMX World Championships
The 2003 UCI BMX World Championships featured some of the worlds best BMX riders on a world class track at the Burswood Dome.
1993 - 2001 Heineken Classic
The Heineken Classic was held at the Vines Resort in Western Australia from 1993 to 2001. In this time the tournament grew to become one of Australia's best-known international golf tournaments.
ITU Triathlon World Championships 1997 and 2000
The ITU Triathlon World Championships was first held in Perth in 1997. Based on the success of the event, which set a new bench mark in world championship event management, Perth won the right to host the event again in 2000.
1999 Pan Pacific Masters Swimming Championships
The 1999 Pan Pacific Masters Swimming Championships attracted Masters-level swimmers - those aged 25 and over - from across the world to compete in the peak Masters Swimming event of the year.
FINA World Swimming Championships 1991 and 1998
Hosted by Perth in 1991 and 1998, the FINA World Swimming Championships is one of the world's biggest sporting events, featuring 5 aquatic disciplines: swimming, diving, water polo, synchronised swimming and open water swimming.
Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race 1993 and 1997
The Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race (now known as the Volvo Ocean Race) is the world's most prestigious yacht race. Fremantle hosted stopovers in 1993 and 1997/98 and was widely regarded by the sailors as the most enjoyable and relaxing host port of the race.
1997 UCI World Track Cycling Championships
The UCI World Track Cycling Championships was Perth's first glimpse of Australia's potential Olympians in the lead up to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
ISAF World Windsurfing Championships 1997
Fremantle welcomed the world's top windsurfers when it hosted the inaugural combined ISAF World Windsurfing championships in 1997 - the first time that the various windsurfing classes held their world championships together at the same time and place.
1997 Aerobica FIG Sports Aerobics World Championships
Aerobica brought all the excitement and pizzazz of the world's best aerobics competitors from 37 countries to the International Burswood Resort and Casino in 1997.
